Christine is paying a visit to White River Junction, Vermont to meet up with her good friend (Screenwriter of the film) Bill Phillips ! Hope you can join us !! Details in the following Press release:

She’s back! In 1983, Stephen King’s novel about a haunted 1958 Plymouth Fury was #1 on the best-seller list at the same time it was released as a feature film, directed by John Carpenter.

One of her characteristics is that she could repair herself. On Friday October 21, she’ll be completely intact and on display in Fred Briggs Park, across from the Tuckerbox, in WRJ, from 2PM to 5PM. She’s not only restored… her magical abilities are evident: her doors lock by themselves, her radio turns on by itself, glows green like in the film and plays old rock songs. She even fills up with smoke.

Bill Gibson, her owner (or does she own him?) is on his way to Stephen King’s hometown of Bangor, Maine the following Halloween weekend. There will be a unique celebration with several of the original cast attending. Meanwhile, back on the 21^st in WRJ, at 5PM, there will be a procession of several classic cars from the CARZ Vintage Car Club to accompany Christine in a small parade to Freight Alley, where she’ll continue to be on display from 5:30-8PM.

At 8:30, the film CHRISTINE will show in WRJ’s Main Street Museum. First there will be a panel discussion with Bill Gibson, Christine’s owner; Steve Bissette, Professor at the Center for Cartoon Studies (and an expert on horror films, among other things). Also present will be Bill Phillips, whose first produced Hollywood feature screenplay was Christine. He presently teaches screenwriting at Dartmouth.

Admission is free (but you may want to pay to get out again… bwah-ahh-ahh!)

Dark Delicacies located at 3512 W. Magnolia Blvd. Burbank, CA 91505 (818)-556-6660 will be sponsoring and hosting an autograph signing on Sunday, October 25th from 12:00 noon until 4:00pm. Personalities appearing at the signing will bring whatever they would like to sell, usually 8x10s. The shop will pre-sell copies of the blu-ray, and customers pick them up the day of the signing at which time they are entitled to signatures from all celebrities present on the blu-ray cover. So each customer gets one signature from everyone at no extra charge on the blu-ray cover only. If customers bring items for celebrities to sign, they pay whatever the celeb dictates for the signature on that item.

There are not many Blu-rays left to purchase. (1 per customer ) You must be in attendance !!! This will be the first time since the movie’s release that we are getting this many cast and crew together in one location, and first appearance together in Los Angeles !!! :0)
